Welcome to November ...

Welcome to NOVEMBER and our GREEN with white and USE THIS element of spray ink.

USE THIS criteria -  Spray Ink

This year we are continuing with using a base colour and allowing you to use any variation of that colour you might like to use - light, dark, colour ranges just so long as we can tell it IS the monthly colour.  Of course you MUST use a majority of white on your page - the easiest way to achieve this is to use a white cardstock background but that is up to you.

We are also introducing a simple monthly "Use this" criteria for you to include on your entry.

You can use black, dark brown, grey or navy as your accent colour for journaling, titles etc and we will allow green if part of a floral pattern.  We'd love to see you take inspiration from this board and incorporate items you see and inspire you - perhaps you like the distressed look you see on the painted door and would like to replicate it or just use paint itself, like leaves and foliage and want to use them on your page. You might be drawn to the nature themes or the rectangular frames you see in the drawer or perhaps wish to incorporate crayon work onto your layout or just feature cooking or kitchen items. Whatever the inspiration please tell us what caught your eye.

and now some totally amazing inspiration from our wonderful 2023 team ...
(in no particular order)

Karen Guy (Australia)
The Old building was my inspiration, and with green, easy to find these photos from Ireland, I have used an Ink Spray to make my background and several green Ink sprays on another piece of white cardstock and stamped and cut out my leaves!

Karen Brierley (Australia)
Lots of leafy inspiration in the images, so I went with a forest theme. I used Smooch Spritz spray in Emerald Green.

Tracey Beer (Australia)
I used Dylusions ink spray in Dirty martini, sprayed it onto a stamp, stamped it on the page, then sprizted the stamp with water and stamped again. I then added some of the ink spray to some impasto and scraped it through a stencil. 3 looks from the one ink spray.

Heather Bensley (Australia)
I was inspired by all the circles and the leaves.

Amanda Moran (Australia)

Victoria King (Australia)
I was inspired by the trees on the mood board and hopefully my spray reflects the movement of the water at Pupu Springs (Te Waikoropupu Springs, NZ)

Lisa Kynaston (Austalia)
Taking Inspiration from the old painted door, I have used spray ink on a textured Gesso background.

Jane Howden (Australia)
Applied my spray ink via the smooth plastic packaging method and was inspired by the foliage and the trees.

This year we will have one main prize each month selected by random draw.

This is open to all entrants so anyone could be a winner however should an international winner be selected I reserve the right to offer a store gift card in lieu of a physical prize.

Plus there will be a special "Admin Choice" winner who will receive an invitation to guest with us next month.

To enter please visit our Facebook public group White with 1 challenges and put your entry directly into our monthly album under media.

All entries must be new for this challenge and the original work of the entrant. Please remember we are a layout only challenge - cards, OTP or pocket page entries (etc) are not eligible for prizes. Please also remember you may ONLY combine your challenge with a sketch challenge. Your entry must be predominantly white with the one extra colour added - small amounts of brown, navy or black may be used for contrast and we will allow green if part of a floral pattern. International entries are welcome.

We'd love to see how you use our White with 1 colour combination this month. Please come and join in with us! You have until the end of the month to get your entry in.
