Welcome to October ...

Welcome to our October Green Moodboard. Layouts using green can look so very different depending on the depth of colour you use so please feel free to go as light or as dark toned as you like, or as soft or as bright as you want or mix it up - let's make green shine!

We'd love to see you take inspiration from this board and incorporate items you see and inspire you - perhaps you like using crayons or pencils or can see a school theme created from these.  Like the rustic look of the door and want to use a similar texture on your page. Want to tell a story about books or are inspired by the segments of the lime or umbrella? Whatever catches your eye please mention what inspired you on your entry.

and now some totally amazing inspiration from our wonderful 2022 team ...
(in no particular order)

My inspiration for this page was the lime slices, the squares and the leaves. I have done a double page because I couldn’t decide which photos to leave behind.

Amanda Moran (Australia)
As soon as I saw the limes in the mood board I knew I’d have to do a cocktail layout. Also took inspiration from the books and used a text stamp in the background.

Made my own background using Distress Crayons inspired by the crayons and pencils from the moodboard. This kitten was actually called Green for its first few weeks of fostering. My leaves which are 49 market vellum were inspired by the leaves pictured on the moodboard.

Hello Hobbiton, it’s little hard to see, but in the middle of the village there is a big round green door, so I was inspired by the door in the moodboard.

Said door can be viewed in Karen's layout below.

Yes Hobbiton, I love it, my inspiration The Green Door, how can you miss this green door and I had a stamp that matched…

Karen Brierley (Australia)
The green foliage inspired me to dig into my stash of rainforest photos.

When I saw this image doing the rounds on the internet I just knew I had to do a tribute page for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II this month.

We will have two main prizes each month throughout 2022 both selected by random draw.

The first will receive a lovely prize pack courtesy of White with 1. This is open to all entrants so anyone could be a winner.

The second winner will be an AUSTRALIAN / NEW ZEALAND entrant and will receive a prize from either a monthly sponsor or one of our amazing design team.

Plus there will be a special "Admin Choice" winner who will receive an invitation to guest with us next month.

To enter please visit our Facebook public group White with 1 challenges and put your entry directly into our monthly album under media.

All entries must be new for this challenge and the original work of the entrant. Please remember we are a layout only challenge - cards, OTP or pocket page entries (etc) are not eligible for prizes. Your entry must be predominantly white with the one extra colour added - small amounts of brown, navy or black may be used for contrast and we will allow green if part of a floral pattern. International entries are welcome.

We'd love to see how you use our White with 1 colour combination this month. Please come and join in with us! You have until the end of the month to get your entry in.
