Welcome to August ...

 Welcome to our August moodboard.

Our colour this month is a tribute to Cancer Council Daffodil day - Thursday 25th August, 2022.  I think there would not be many amongst us who haven't been touched by this insidious disease so if you can, please pick up a pen or a teddy or something else from one of their many stalls or make a donation in person or on line.  Your contribution matters!

Daffodil Day is one of Australia’s best known and most popular fundraising events.
Each day more than 100 Australians will die of cancer. Daffodil Day raises funds for Cancer Council to continue its work in cancer research, providing patient support programs and prevention programs to all Australians. Daffodil Day helps grow hope for better treatments, hope for more survivors, hope for a cure.

To Cancer Council, the daffodil represents hope for a cancer-free future. You too can help in the fight against cancer by participating in Daffodil Day. Daffodil Day merchandise is on sale throughout August, and you can donate to Daffodil Day at any time.

We'd love to see you take inspiration from this board and incorporate items you see and inspire you - perhaps you like love using flowers or leaves on your pages.  Inspired by the vintage book pages or like the rustic flaky paint look. Like rectangles or circle or using a grid pattern? Whatever catches your eye please mention what inspired you on your entry.

and now some totally amazing inspiration from our wonderful 2022 team ...

We will have two main prizes each month throughout 2022 both selected by random draw.

The first will receive a lovely prize pack courtesy of White with 1. This is open to all entrants so anyone could be a winner.

The second winner will be an AUSTRALIAN / NEW ZEALAND entrant and will receive a prize from either a monthly sponsor or one of our amazing design team.

Plus there will be a special "Admin Choice" winner who will receive an invitation to guest with us next month.

To enter please visit our Facebook public group White with 1 challenges and put your entry directly into our monthly album under media.

All entries must be new for this challenge and the original work of the entrant. Please remember we are a layout only challenge - cards, OTP or pocket page entries (etc) are not eligible for prizes. Your entry must be predominantly white with the one extra colour added - small amounts of brown, navy or black may be used for contrast and we will allow green if part of a floral pattern. International entries are welcome.

We'd love to see how you use our White with 1 colour combination this month. Please come and join in with us! You have until the end of the month to get your entry in.
