Welcome to December ...

Welcome to our December challenge. I hope this bright and cheerful colour might inspire a Christmas layout or two but will equally work for many other themes too - and the good news is you will have all of December and January to create something for us. Entries will remain open until the end of January while we give ourselves a little break over Christmas and the New Year - we will commence 2021 in February.

 Introducing ....

We hope you like our inclusion of a sketch courtesy of PageMaps to help inspire you further. You don't have to use this to put in an entry but we'd love it if you do.

and some totally amazing inspiration from our amazing 2020 team ...
(in no particular order)

Annemarie Caister (New Zealand)

Tracey Campbell (Australia)

Laurie Leahey (USA)
Did my own little spin on this. Loved using red in December for a non-Christmas layout.

Brenda Caldow (Australia)

Jane Taylor (England UK)

Theresa Kamp (Australia)

Julie Schinkel (Australia)
I’ve reversed/flipped the sketch and went all out Christmas for December.

Toni Herron (Australia)
I haven’t added a photo yet as it will be used for this year.. I changed the sketch to one 5x7 photo instead of two..

Jane Howden (Australia)

We will have two main prizes each month throughout 2020 both selected by random draw.

The first will receive a delightful prize pack courtesy of White with 1. This is open to all entrants so anyone could be a winner.

The second winner will be an AUSTRALIAN / NEW ZEALAND entrant and will receive a prize from our monthly sponsor.

Our sponsor this month is ...

"Hi,  I am Jodi, Owner/Designer at Corbett Creations Wood Veneers.  My laser cutting business came about because I would be constantly frustrated that I couldn't find the perfect title or embellishment to finish off layouts, projects or gifts.  I would then spend far too long trying to create the perfect embellishment and would sometimes rope my husband in to help me with all this cool tools in the man shed!  He has a love for wood also and together we purchased our laser.  I love being able to design and cut the perfect piece for someone to finish telling their story - the perfect title, the hard to find themed embellishment, a custom piece for the home or a meaningful gift, really makes me feel so happy because I know that their search is over and they have the perfect piece that they desired.  I love to create in wood, chipboard, cardstock, paper and acrylic with so many different mediums I can create so many embellishments and titles - the possibilities are endless.

Good luck with your entries in the challenge, I look forward to seeing everyone's work.

Plus there will be a special "Admin Choice" winner who will receive an invitation to guest with us next month.

To enter please visit our Facebook group White with 1 challenges and put your entry directly into our monthly album under photos.

We are no longer using the "linky" tool so if you do not have Facebook we would still love to see your entry - please just email them to us on www1scrapblog@gmail.com.

All entries must be new for this challenge and the original work of the entrant. You may combine our challenge with a sketch challenge only - no other combining will be accepted and please remember we are a layout only challenge - cards, OTP or pocket page entries (etc) are not eligible for prizes. Your entry must be predominantly white with the one extra colour added - small amounts of brown, navy or black may be used for contrast. International entries are welcome. Please see our full list of rules HERE.

We'd love to see how you use our White with 1 colour combination this month. Please come and join in with us! You have until the end of January to get your entry in.
