Each month one of our team will either introduce themselves and their lovely work to you with a few questions and answers or alternatively inspire you with a little tutorial, tip or trick to help you in your creative pursuits.

How would you describe your personal scrapbooking style?
My style if I had to describe it, would be a mix
of shabby chic with mixed media. I love using lots of embellishments
on my layouts too. I also love creating off the page projects with lots of mixed media too. Everything has to compliment the photo and each other. I'm not a fan of layouts where there's too much going on or you can barely see the photo. I like balance.
How long have you
been scrapbooking and what first got you started?
I first started
scrapbooking in 2011 as a hobby. It became good therapy for my
anxiety and depression. Since then I've gained accreditation with
both Spectrum Noir and Copic and have been on a few
stamping/colouring design teams. As well as White.. With 1, I am also
on the Design Team for Couture Creations and Ultimate Crafts (Artdeco Creations).
Which colour are you
drawn to the most and do you know why?
Purple. My birthstone
is Amethyst so I'm always drawn to purples. Blues and Teals too, probably because I'm a Pisces. Those three colours together are a gorgeous combination.
What part of
creating do you enjoy the most?
Seeing
projects come to life and playing with new products/collections. It's really good therapy and I love spending hours creating different projects. Having a creative outlet such as scrapbooking has really been a game changer for me.
Typically how many
photos do you put on your layout?
Recently
I've mostly been using one photo but no more than three. For me
anything more gets too busy for a single page layout.
You still have time until the end of the month to upload your take on our SOUL PEA challenge.
All details are on the blog sidebar. We'd love to see what you can do with our wonderful colour this month.
