NEW WW1 CREATIVE TEAM & DECEMBER CHALLENGE...

Ok this post has taken me a little longer than the other two blogs to get ready, as my computer died I wasnt able to introduce the NEW WW1 CT Members at the end of last month so this is a HUGE post!!!!

Let me introduce the NEW MEMBERS of the WW1 CREATIVE TEAM, they will join Lindy, Paula, Heather, Belinda and Charm for the next 6 months, please give them a warm welcome by posting a comment below :-)

JASMINE SHAE...
I am a mother of 4, a wife of 1 and an obsessed scrapper. I am currently working on the teams for KIU, Once Upon a Sketch, Bird is the Word, Scrap the Girls (which is also coming to an end) and Scrap for Help (which I am finishing up with next month).

I was also lucky to be asked by Scrapbooking Memories to be on their Creative Team for 2012.

SUZI HOFFSHULZE...
Hi my name is Suzi and I live in Melbourne with my husband and two boys Bailey and Declan.

I have been scrapping for about 5 years now, having had a bit of a break recently after returning to work. I am enjoying getting back into it. I work part-time in a kindergarten and enjoy having my scrapping to escape to at times.

I have in the past dabbled in off the page and card making, however layouts are my love. I did begin scrapping 12"x12" but I am totally obsessed with 8.5"x11" and rarely step outside that at the moment.
I think my style changes all the time. I enjoy getting messy with paints, mists and stamping. Collecting acrylic stamps is a huge addiction of mine. However I also like clean, minimalist layouts and use alot of white space.

MARCIA PRINGLE...
I’m Marcia and live in Perth. I have been a card maker for many years and although I have scrapped on and off over time, I have recently started to make it an art form. I love to make my own embellishments and to keep my layouts simple. Printed paper is my most favourite thing in the world, followed by fabric. And both tend to end up on my layouts every time!

My inspiration is mainly my daughter, Princess. She doesn’t mind hamming it up for the camera, she’s grown up with it in her face. But I also love to capture memories about my day, week and life. I rarely leave the house without a camera or my iPhone because you never know when a photo opportunity turns up. I grew up without many photos around, I treasure the ones I have. So I hope that by journaling everything about her she has memories to look back on.

I love to look at blogs, books and magazines and will often come up with colour combos and ideas seen in print catalogues, places I have visited, even clothing people are wearing!

Adriana Bolzon...
My name is Adriana Bolzon
I live in a wonderful city of Adelaide in Australia
I am married to a wonderful man and I am mother to a precious daughter.
I have been scrapbooking & cardmarking for over 8 years.
I love creating and making things everyday.
My style is anything vintage and old world. I love using inks, stamps and distressing paper.
Always have a touch of lace and ribbons on my layouts and cards.
I am always trying new things and always looking for new challenges
to develop my scrapbooking pages.

CRYSTAL GOULDING...
Hey all, I’m Crystal Goulding and I currently live in Ipswich, QLD (though this could change at any time seeing as we’re a RAAF family!) I am lucky to have three beautiful children who are definitly not camera shy, so they are the perfect subjects to scrap along with my husband Nathan! I have only been scrapping since 2008 and in that short time I have held numerous Design Team positions and have also been accepted to be published in both Scrapbooking Memories and Scrapbook Creations. I am loving watching how my scrapping has envolved and can't wait to provide you with some inspiration here at WW1.

Now on to the next exciting part of the post, Decembers Challenge, the CT's creations and our sponsors for this month...

SCRAP THERAPY...
We have closed our other business to focus wholly on Scraptherapy, opening a Paper Craft Bricks and Mortar store in Babinda, FNQ to run in conjunction with the online site. During the last 2+ years we have learnt a whole load of stuff about e-commerce, scrapbooking, cardmaking and the people who love these hobbies.

At www.scrapthearpy.com.au you will find a fantastic gallery filled with inspiring ideas, a great community of ladies and an odd guy or two in our online forum. Our Design Team backed up by our Big Sisters offer regular competitions and challenges to help you find your mojo, and a chance to win a shopping voucher or two. Then of course there is the shop where we hope you will find all the latest and greatest products at great prices. If you can’t find what you are looking for feel free to contact me at lee-anne@scraptherapy.com.au and check to see if we can get it in for you. We often can.

Our freight charges for orders up to $25 is $9.00, orders between $25 to $100 stay at $6 and orders over $100 are now free.

I love scrapbooking and Danny can whip up a pretty good card, but our true passion is excelling in great customer service, which we hope to continue to do for years to come.

Scrap Therapy have donated a $25.00 voucher.

SCRAPBOOK DIVAS...
Scrapbook Divas started in December 2005, is located in Newcastle and offers great products 24/7.

We have a very inspirational gallery, forum and design team. Scrapbook Divas also conducts monthly Divas Days Out where you can come and shop and scrap to your hearts content.

For all enquiries you can email Michelle at michelle@scrapbookdivas.com.au

Scrapbook Divas have donated a $20.00 voucher

SCRAPBOOKING FROM SCRATCH...

My name is Peta. I am married to Jason and we have 4 children, Zac, Meah, Caleb & Sienna.

I have been scrapbooking since 2003. My interest started after being invited to a Creative Memories workshop at a friends place. I still use my CM products, and recommend highly their range of tools.

But my true scrapping addiction started once I found the huge range of products available when attending a local lady's workshops in 2005. Unfortunately she decided to stop teaching and my girlfriend said I should start up teaching, even if we just do it as a get together... well that now seems like so many years ago. I am holding classes every week and I have also held 3 home based retreats as well.

My friends & customers love the fact that they can come to my classes and receive a pack of product and instruction to complete their pages, not too much thought on their behalf, so hence where "scrapbookingfromscratch" has come from.

My goal is to bring my home classes to your home in a conveniently packaged purchase for you to complete these gorgeous pages too.

Check out Scrapbooking From Scratch now...

Scrapbooking From Scratch are donating a $20.00 voucher.

SCRAP FRIENDS...

ScrapFriends is very young and fresh scrapbooking store.

We offer our customers exclusive products on Australian market as well as known products of different brands. Check out our range of flowers, exclusive paper, cardstock and chipboards.

We also offer lovely customer service and unbeatable prices, if you find any product cheaper anywhere else - we'll beat it.

Scrap Friends are offering a $50.00 voucher and exclusive products from their store...

** DECEMBERS CHALLENGE **

This month your challenge is to create a layout using the following criteria...

WHITE + CHRISTMAS THEMED + CHRISTMAS PHOTO

**
Christmas Themed... well these days can include any colours, so what I want this month is for you to take your inspiration from a Christmas/Non Christmas paper range, feel free to use those papers if you wish, as you can see from the CT's stunning examples you can stick with white + ONE colour or feel free to run wild and use as many as you want...
To me Christmas is about fun so I hope you have fun with this challenge!!!

Here are the Creative Teams examples...

CRYSTAL...
Crystal has used OA Sidewalks as her base (green and white) and added the traditional xmas colours, reds and whites to create her example...

LINDY...
Lindy got her inspiration from Making Memories Mistletoe and Paperie to create her layout.

HEATHER...
Heather has used Websters as her inspiration to create her gorgeous example.

ADRIANA...
Adriana used Kaiser's Dec 25th Collection to inspire her creation.

CHARM...
Charm has used Teresa Collins Christmas Home paper for her example.

SUZI...
Suzi got her inspiration from October Afternoons Holiday Style range to create her gorgeous page.

PAULA...
