Welcome to our March challenge. I can't believe we are now in our third month of 2025 - time is just flashing past us all.

 

This year we will be using a base colour (or allowing you to select your own) in any variation of that one colour you might like to use - light, dark, colour ranges just so long as we can tell it IS your monthly colour choice. Please use white cardstock as your base and follow the simple monthly criteria.

Select your ONE colour from the image (BLUE, BROWN or YELLOW) and create your layout on WHITE cardstock

Small amounts of black, navy may be used for contrast and we will allow green if part of a floral pattern.

Our February guest ...

Please welcome our February guest designer,  BERNADETTE ROBBINS with her wonderful take on our February Summer challenge.

I have been enjoying scrapbooking for over 20 years on and off but now my boys are 12 and 14, I get to do it a lot more now than I ever have. I mostly scrapbook my 2 boys, my husband, our 2 cats and our dog. I am always looking for new ideas and techniques. So far I have 53 12x12 albums, a few mini albums and some albums I made all by myself. I love hand stitching, distressing edges, metal dies and ALL the patterned paper, using water colour is my favourite technique at the moment. This year I'm hoping to teach myself more about mixed media and to use my stamps more because they have just been sitting there for many years.

Welcome to 2025 and our first challenge of the year with our February Summer moodboard.

You can use black, dark brown, grey or navy as your accent colour for journaling, titles etc and we will allow green if part of a floral pattern. 

Please select your ONE colour of your choice from the image to use on a WHITE cardstock background to create your layout using elements from the moodboard as inspiration.

About me. My name is Sue, 68, living in Surrey in the south of England. My husband and I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren who all appear very frequently on my pages and are a very big part of our lives. Scrapbooking entered my life by accident about 25 years ago when I visited a craft shop for paint and came home with a mini album and some papers. The rest, as they say, is history. I attend a monthly crop and a yearly retreat and have more stash than I will ever use! My current favourite paper range is 49th & Market as you can see from my pages and it also explains why I find White with 1 a challenge. Very hard to create a minimalist page.

Welcome to our December /January challenge ...

  Our December 2024/January 2025 challenge is going to be a super simple one and the good news is you will have all of December and January to create something for us. Entries will remain open until the end of January while we give ourselves a little break over Christmas and the New Year - our first challenge of 2025 will commence in February.

Each of the White with 1 team have selected a favourite layout they have created during the year and your job is to use your colour of choice on a white cardstock base and scrap lift one of them. You can interpret the page however you might like but we do need to see the essence of the layout you have lifted. Please let us know who you have lifted when you upload your entry.

My name is Wendy Crowe and I am happy to be a guest designer for White with one challenges. I’ve been a happy scrapper for over 20 years. I am married to my very supportive husband for 27 years, I have three children and one gorgeous grandbaby. They are all the main subjects of my pages. My favorite subject to Scrap is our family trips to Disney. I’m usually a simple scrapper, but lately I’ve been dabbling into more mixed media and trying different techniques.
