Life is a gift
melenia picHow long have you been scrapping ? I started scrapping in 2009, but I took huge steps to improving my scrapbooking skills from 2012 and onwards!  How many people in your family ? any children?  I am a mother of two children, a boy and a girl, aged 9 & 7 respectively. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful man who supports me in my scrapbooking journey and shows patience in my shortcomings. who do you scrap the most ? I mainly scrap photos that I find in Pinterest and other websites.  your favourite colours to scrap with ?  I love all the colours, but I have to choose a couple of them, these would be the colours of water and of fire. Your favourite designers or scrapbookers ? Among my favourite designers I would definitely include Kasia Krzyminska, Fran Westmoreland and Finnabair. who or what inspires you ? Russian music has always been my passion, so when I scrap there's always some Rachmaninoff or Tchaikovsky music sounding (in high volume in the room! where do you live? I live in Crete, a Greek island, in the south-east of Europe.

So I guess that's everything!  Thanks again for the invitation to be a guest designer in WW1!!

Post by CT Girl Marie Eve Bernard – #9 in the series ‘Where do you create”?

This is my turn to present my craft space this month.  My craft space is tiny, but i think I'm pretty organized.  So there it is:

This is my Raskog.  I bought it at IKEA.  I love it!  My medium are now well organized.  My only regrets: why I didn't take the Turquoise one?????  lol

This is my organisation for my embellishments.  I have several plano box (box for fishing accessories).  Each box contain a different colour and i have one for wood embellishments and one  for metal.  I love this organisation because, i easily find what fits on my page.

I also discover that I have a better use of my stuff.  I admit, you have to be a little bit disciplined, because you have to sort everything when you buy new stuff, but i worth it!

The last thing that i love in my craft space is this book.  It's my medium inventory.   I found that, often, it's hard to properly judge the colour of a spray just by looking at the bottle.  So i made this book with a sample of all my medium.  When i need a particular colour, i look in my book.  Also, when i shop for new ones, it's fun, because i know exactly what i have.

So this is my little heaven!
Thanks for looking!

June Challenge Time at WW1 ..

Hi .. and welcome to the middle of the year! Where have those last 6 months gone? .. flown past at a crazy speed they haven't they.

This is a colour that just sang to me when I was selecting the current seasons challenge colours. What do you think of it ??

So here is your challenge colour! - Biscay Bay!

and for a bit of inspiration .. you can go here to see this gorgeous colour on pinterest.

Before we get to the inspiration below, a little bit of NEWS!!! Alot of thought has gone into this decision and I hope it it will make alot of scrappers happy.
In the past WW1 have had a strict rule that you must use our colour challenge exclusively to be eligible to win a prize. Well, this rule has now changed! You can now enter WW1’s colour challenge and a sketch challenge. This does not include any other colour challenges, and it can only be 1 other sketch challenge! .. we hope that this makes your scrapbooking time more productive as you can now enter 2 challenges at once!

If you need to have to recheck the rules for WW1 ..go to this link.

And here are the amazing WW1 Creative Teams inspirational creations for this month:

International Guest Creative Team Designer!

Cindy Brown from Canada

My name is Cindy Brown alias Talkis on some Quebec forums. Those who know me say I am a dynamic girl who left to mark the way. Hyperactive by nature I channel my energy into lots of scrapbooking projects. I have a boyfriend that I love and two dogs that I love also.
Scrapbooking entered my life in 2006 because I wanted to make an album of my dogs. I found my place and since then I am a compulsive buyer! I love discovering and trying new products especially. I want them all !!!!!

A particular colour I love is the same as the eye color of Ian Somerhalder (Turquoise) mixed with gray and black hair.  I love watching everything around me and inspires me to create. Making the rounds of blogs and Pinterest is also a great place for inspiration.
I started this passion by making pages and then I'm exploring mixed media to return to pages by adding a touch of mixed media. I can not say I have a particular style, what I can say is that I like to explore all avenues.
The person who inspires me the most are scrapbooking. Finnabair,Marta  Åapkowska, Elena Morgun and Donna Downey. They inspire me all the way especially in their execution. I love watching their videos.

You can check out my blog here: and from there you can find my online links to Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube.
