GUEST DESIGNERS 2022

NOVEMBER

Debra Metcalfe

Hi I’m Debra and I live in Camden NSW, I have 1 daughter and 2 granddaughters, who are my scrapping muses.

I was thrilled to be asked to be the guest designer this month, love the teal theme and I was inspired by the butterflies and I had the perfect photo to go with it.

I have been scrapping for about 20 years, I started with Creative Memories.
Needless to say my style has evolved over the years, I don’t have any particular style but I do love mixed media & shabby chic & a bit of steampunk.

OCTOBER

Stephanie Robinson

I was inspired by the crayons, the umbrellas, the plants and the lime.

My name is Stephanie, living in Sweden.
Thanks a lot for the chance to be a guest this month. Please join the green moodboard, it was really fun to make.

I started with this hobby in 2009 and I love it! This year I decided to try to make one layout/month. I loved it so much so it has been 90 projects this year!šŸ¤£šŸ˜

SEPTEMBER

 Natalie Donoghue (Australia)

Inspired by the books , dragonflies and gems.

Hi I’m Natalie or Nat to my friends.

I was double excited to be asked to be this months guest designer for two reasons - 1)  just being asked and 2) finding out the colour is purple (my second favourite colour).

I have been scrapbooking and card making for a number of years now and find it a rewarding and relaxing hobby!

Most recently I have really been exploring art journaling and using a lot of multi media on my pages. I really enjoy repurposing items to use such as dress labels, tags, tissue paper and gift wrap. I don’t have favourite suppliers or items, that changes depending on the day!

AUGUST

  Lisa Kynaston (Australia)

I have taken inspiration from the flowers, the Vintage print pages and aged paint. I have created a vintage style layout and aged and distressed the paper with a mustard & vintage ink pad.

Hi, My name is Lisa Kynaston, I have been scrapbooking for at least 20 years. I live in Hervey Bay, QLD, Australia. I mainly use pre-digital photos from the 90's but I have been doing more recently with printed digital photos of my grandchildren and also some older vintage photos. My style is evolving and changing all the time and I love to give anything a go and love using my stash and scraps.

I have a page on Facebook "Scrapbook Layouts by Lisa" and a lot of my older designs are on Pinterest.

JULY

Sue Schubert (Australia)

I took inspiration from the colours and textures and flowers.

Hello, I’m Sue Schubert ! I have recently moved to Queensland and my favourite hobby is scrapbooking, I have been scrapbooking for many years, my style varies but my favourite elements to use are cut files and anywhere I can add a flower or two makes me happy .

JUNE

Jessica Fischer (USA)

I live in Denver, NC but was raised near Pittsburgh, PA. I picked up scrapbooking as a hobby in 2014. Then, in 2015, I decided to try mixed media and loved it! I was part of the Scraps of Darkness DT and the Blue Fern Studios DT. At the beginning of 2019 I needed to take a break from my artwork, but I recently started again after relocating my art studio. It’s good to be back!

APRIL

MAUREEN WOOD

I have taken my inspiration from the sequins on the dress and the lace on the dress. The squares on the telephone box and the lamp post, add some stencil work for the grid lines.

I took up scrapbooking full time when I retired 6 years ago. But have been scrapping for at least 20 years.
I also have a love of cardmaking and fancy fold cards.  My style is simple just love to use paper. I am not much of a multimedia person but will do a little stencil work sometimes.

FEBRUARY

JULENE MATTHEWS

I incorporated hearts, Eiffel tower stamps, and a vintage lace which I inked with Versa “opera pink”. These flowers were just the correct colour for the challenge.
