Please welcome EMMA ALLEN to the WW1 Creative Team…

em

My name is Emma and I am 29 years old. I have been married to Phil for 7 years this year, together for 11 years.
We have 3 children, our eldest, a girl, Isabella is 4, and 2 boys, Jordan 3 in November and Jett was 1 in April.

I first started scrapbooking 6 or 7 years ago when I made my Mum an album of my siblings and me.

I love glimmermist, distressed edges and ink. I couldn’t live without my Heidi Swapp distresser. My scrapping “style” changes all the time, with different techniques and inspiration out there to try and be influenced by.

I love surfing the net for inspiration, it is a wealth of information, ideas, and just awesome chicks sharing their lives through scrapbooking.

I’m so stoked to be on the WHITE WITH 1 team with such an awesome CT.

Welcome TARA SCOBIE to the WW1 Creative Team…

TARA I am 28 years old, Mum to 3 beautiful kiddo's and partner to Mark. I live in a small country town near the snowy mountains and absolutely love it, I work part time as a florist, and have been there now for 8 years...
I love that I can be creative in my workplace, it makes it that much more enjoyable! I have been scrapping for approximately 5 years now, but have really only become addicted in the last year or so.
I don't think I could say I have a particular style in my scrapping, but I do love the minimalist style with lots of messy sewing!!

Please Welcome FELICITY WILSON to the WW1 CT…

FLIS

Hi, I am Felicity Wilson, a mother to a gorgeous little boy (yes biased too!!), Brae, with our 2nd due January 2011, married to a wonderful husband, Brett. I am a stay at home mum and love every minute of it, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love watching my son grow and change everyday.

I live in a small country town in central QLD. I love to shop, either clothing, scrappy supplies or housey things. I have been scrapping for a few years now, but the last 2 years as seen by me to be a little more ‘serious’, if you could say it like that..

Since having Brae last year, I have now really found a style and enjoy scrapping even more. Maybe it’s because I am not scrapping photo’s of myself. Haha.

I get so much inspiration everyday from just being around my boys, which is what influences my Layouts and the design.  I also love my camera. Last year, I launched out and bought a new canon 5D and love it. It goes with me everywhere and just like the nappy bag..

As you can see, scrapping is my life and the way I live everyday. Everyday I am doing something scrappy, from simply editing a photo to being online

I am looking forward to all the challenges that this will bring, the way in which I am going to grow in the scrappy world and meeting and making awesome friends.

Please welcome MELINDA THOMPSON…

Melinda Thompson

Hi my name is Melinda Thompson AKA as Min. I am married to a wonderful husband Brad of 10 years and we have two adorable boys, Riley 3.5 years, Finlay 2 years. We have just recently moved to Emerald in Central Queensland and just love the quite country life.

I started scrapping around the time that Riley was born but only really became ‘serious’ about 12 months ago. Now I am hooked!! I scrap nearly everyday, if I’m not scrapping I am thinking about it, browsing through magazines, online galleries and blogs or simply taking photos of my little boys.

I don’t really have a style as such but my favourite things at the moment to do would have to be stitching & paint.

I am currently on the KIU Creative Team and am looking forward to the challenges here at WW1…

Say Hi to MALINDA GARDNER (Mal)…

Mal

Hi my name is Malinda or Mal…
I’m mum to Isobel (4) and Beatrix (6 months) and wife to an amazing husband and father, Nathan.

I started scrapping about 3 months after Isobel was born, so nearly 4 years ago. Mum told me to “get a hobby” and even though i thought it was the daggiest hobby, I asked a girlfriend to show me what she had done at a class at LSS.

I scrap most days, if I don’t I don’t feel right.  It’s my ME time, my sanity, my creative outlet. I never knew I was creative until I started scrapping, and I only now believe that I am quite good at what I do, well actually not that I am good at what I do, but that I like what I do.
I scrap for me and for my family. I do do a lot of challenges, in fact I would say 95% of my scrapping is for challenges, but that’s because I love the actual challenge of doing challenge IYKWIM.

I am lucky enough to have a study that has a scrap table and scrap box kind of thing that Nath made for me in it. So I can leave my mess out and don’t have to pack things up.  I am a messy scrapper, on the page and on the desk! I hate to put stuff away!
Obviously my main scrapping subjects are my girls, but I love to scrap about other people as well, especially the relationships they have with each other. I love to journal, even though I hate my handwriting, I try to journal on most pages.

My greatest purchase in the latest 4 years would be my Canon 450D and taking the time to learn how to use it and now how to use PS to edit. It’s amazing how different my photos are and then my LOs.
I've been published in both SC and SM...and now I might try and get something published in one of the OS mags!
I'm currently on the DT at BONSSCRAPS and have been on the CT at STUCK! sketches and 123 Challenge..

LISA WARREN Welcome to the WW1 CT…

lisa

Hi, I'm Lisa Warren. I live on the South Coast of NSW, Australia, with my hubby Andrew, our children Seth and Emeline, and our scruffy mutt Marley.

They are my constant source of inspiration...the special occasions, everyday moments, funny stories and emotions, that I record in my scrapbooking pages. For as long as I can remember, I have loved taking photos, writing stories and playing with craft products.

When I was introduced to scrapbooking in 2003, all of those loves were brought together and made complete sense. I love documenting my family memories, sharing those stories and having a bit of fun through the creative process.

I have been honoured to be published in numerous magazines and to serve on many design teams.
I am currently designing for Scrapware Australia where I not only love playing with the chipboard, but design chipboard pieces as well.

I am the co-founder and sketch creator for Inspired Blueprints, a sketch challenge site, and I also recently launched my own online kit club named Storyboard Kits

I absolutely adore scrapbooking, and challenges are the perfect jumping off point to get your mojo flowing!

Please Welcome MICHELLE FOWLER to the WW1 Creative Team…

michelle fowler-1

Hi My name is Michelle Fowler but, most people call me Shell and I live in beautiful sunny Brisbane, Australia.

I'm lucky enough to have the best job in the whole wide world, being a SAHM to my 2 gorgeous little boys and wife to a wonderful and supportive husband.

I have always been crafty and have tried my hand at lots of different creative hobbies but my absolute favourite is Scrapbooking so much so that at times its been described as an obsession.

I love the 'me' time it allows and all the wonderful friendships that I've made through the scrapbooking community.

I find it hard to define my style as its always evolving but other people have described my lay outs as clean and bright.

I'm really excited to be embarking on my new adventure with White with 1 and I'm so happy and honored to be included in such a fantastic team.

Please Welcome to the WW1 CT CATHY CAFUN..

Cathy Cafun

Hi, my name is Cathy Cafun. I live in sunny Brisbane with my husband Yves of 25 years and 2 teenage children Luke and Brittany. I have been scrapping for about 6 years now and just LOVE it. I have tried many crafts over the years but once I was introduced to scrapbooking by a friend, that was it for me, I had found my passion and I have been hooked ever since.

I don’t think I have a particular style, but I do love mixing lots of different patterned papers together and trying out different techniques. I find browsing blogs, online galleries & mags a great source of inspiration and have a growing addiction to challenge sites as they are a great way to get you out of your comfort zone and think outside the box. There are so many awe-inspiring scrappers on these sites and I love looking at all their fabulous work and finding new and creative ideas to get the juices flowing.

I am so thrilled to be part of the WW1 Creative Team and work with a group of such amazing, talented scrappers. Looking forward to getting creative with the challenges and I can’t wait to see how everyone is inspired by them!!

Big Welcome to SCRAP THERAPY…

logo1

The lovely and very generous Lee-Anne and Danny from Scrap Therapy have come on board as WW1’s Major Sponsor, we are excited to have them and I hope you all give them a warm welcome and head on over to Scrap Therapy and check out their great site!!

Here is a little about Lee-Anne and Danny and Scrap Therapy…

Danny and I purchased Scraptherapy as a small, pre-existing  online store in July 2008, as a small part-time venture.  Since then we have seen amazing growth, now offering over 10,000 products.
We have closed our other business to focus wholly on Scraptherapy, opening a Paper Craft Bricks and Mortar store in Babinda, FNQ to run in conjunction with the online site.  During the last 2+ years we have learnt a whole load of stuff about e-commerce, scrapbooking, cardmaking and the people who love these hobbies.

At www.scrapthearpy.com.au  you will find a fantastic gallery filled with inspiring ideas, a great community of ladies and an odd guy or two in our online forum.  Our Design Team backed up by our Big Sisters offer regular competitions and challenges to help you find your mojo, and a chance to win a shopping voucher or two.  Then of course there is the shop where we hope you will find all the latest and greatest products at great prices.  If you can’t find what you are looking for feel free to contact me at lee-anne@scraptherapy.com.au and check to see if we can get it in for you.  We often can.

All our freight is fixed at $6 whether you choose our express post service or our postage with insurance option, and orders over $60 will get a little bonus pressie popped in with their order.

I love scrapbooking and Danny can whip up a pretty good card, but our true passion is excelling in great customer service, which we hope to continue to do for years to come.

Now here is an image of what is on offer for our giveaway, a Vintage Embellishment Kit from What Is Old Is New Kits
GIVEAWAY ww1

Just remember all you have to do is leave a comment here or on our Facebook Page, the winner will be drawn on the 15th!!!!

Have a great Sunday :-)
